First, our products do not smell as bad as over the counter (OTC) bug and insect sprays which is better for you, your children and pets. Our products have a reduced chance of causing stains, and less opportunity for improper use compared to OTC products applied by our licensed pest control technicians.

How does pest control work?

Unfortunately, the first part of pest control is having a bug and pest problem! The solution though is to call us at (702) 827-8300 or if you prefer you can use our online form to request a quote - either way we will eliminate the problem you're having as soon as possible! We schedule a good time with you to come out and inspect the problem and provide a plan with estimate to get rid of the bugs or pests you're dealing with.

How much does pest control cost - are pest control services worth the money?

The cost of pest control varies by bug / pest type, and the level of infestation. Prices can range from $65.00 to over $1,000.00 for custom pest prevention including materials such as when we provide bird and pigeon control solutions. Pricing can be lower for on-going pest management which is a good way to save money on pest control through regular visits. In addition, we provide pest control discounts for qualifying customers.

Does your company provide any discounts or specials?

Yes, we do and are one of the few Las Vegas pest control companies that give back to our community! We provide discounts on pest control services for our local emergency responders (fire, polic and medical), as well as military personnel, nurses, seniors and teachers. We appreciate the hard work and dedication these professionals give all of us and appreciate the opportunity to return the favor when our services are needed! Is your pest control company licensed, bonded and insured?

Absolutely, we are! We hold Nevada Pest Control Bus License #6963. In addition to licensing, we are bonded and maintain proper insurance as required by the State of Nevada.

Our property includes children and pets - are your pest control chemicals harmful to children and pets?

Accepted Answer

All products used by Exceed Pest Defense are Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved. When correctly applied by our technicians, children and pets are not adversely affected. Keep in mind though, as a professional pest control company we recommend that you please do your due diligence by keeping all children and pets safe by restricting direct contact with any chemical sprays / applied areas for 30 minutes (time to set and dry).

Do professional pest chemicals stink - are there any odors?

Professional indoor products we use are rated as low-odor chemicals. That means there may be a minorly-detectable scent following application yet it usually dissipates during after drying.

I like to know who will be around to service my property - does your company provide the same technician for each scheduled service time?

Our pest company prides itself on customer satisfaction! When it comes to on-going pest management, we get to know our customers through each visit, and build a rapport with them! In most cases, you will have the same pest control specialist though due to staff scheduling you may meet a different member of our team from time to time.

When applying product to kitchen cabinets, should I wash them out after your service?

Accepted Answer

No, please. We ask our residential pest control customers to please not wash their cabinets or floor areas after we perform services because doing-so removes protection from bugs and pests. Instead, we recommend cleaning cabinetry using a dry cloth or towel to remove dust / debris - this is what we would do in our own home.

With on-going residential services, will you need to spray chemicals inside my home each visit (ie, monthly)?

A professional pest control company should never require monthly bug spray applications inside your home if you do not wish it to be done. When a member of our team establishes an outside barrier, it is extremely effective in keeping bugs and pests away. However, to ensure our service we recommend interior service intervals of no less than twice per year (ie, every six months).

Question 12

Is it a good idea to leave when you spray pest control chemicals in my home?

Accepted Answer

This is dependent upon the type of service being done at your residence. For General Pest Control and most other services you will not have to leave your home, with an exception being made during a German Roach or Bed Bug flush out where we find the need to use fogging (bombing) machines.
